RETIREMENT PLANS
She intends to retire from professional mountain biking at the end of 2021. "I don't want to tease any more, this year I am finishing my career. I will definitely train and compete as an amateur, but I will be done with professional racing. I feel fulfilled as an athlete. I lack an overall World Cup victory and an Olympic gold, but I have two Olympic silvers and a podium finish in the World Cup general classification, plus world and European titles. But what makes me the most proud is that I have spent 18 years always being among the contenders." (redbull.com, 16 Feb 2021; sport.onet.pl, 17 Aug 2020)

AUTHOR
She wrote a book called 'School of Life' that was published in 2014, in which she described her life and what it took to return to riding after her 2012 injuries. "It is not a summary of part of my life, it is rather a crown of my success - I think that the biggest success in my career is that I came back to sport after my accident." (gazeta.pl, 01 Nov 2014)
