She competes in K2 with Kira Stepanova. "I am very happy with this decision, because in the doubles there are more chances to get to the final than in the singles. Kira is the helmsman, she sits in the front of the kayak. I am the motor of the team, I am in the back. Two and a half years ago, we tried to start with her in the doubles in Portugal. We did not succeed then, the boat was overwhelmed. Now I can explain this by the fact that at that moment Kira was not as experienced as she is now, and I was weaker than I am today.
