CHANGE OF COACH AND TRAINING LOCATION
In 2019 she moved to Guildford, England, where she began training with British sprint paddler Liam Heath. "It has been inspiring to work with him and has spurred me on to try and replicate what he has done. Just watching him and seeing how he works, and then trying to bring that into my own performances has been really helpful for me. I reassessed in 2019 what my goals look like, and decided to focus on the K1 200m, which ended up as the best decision I ever made. It is the event I have always loved the most, so I threw myself into that training and have enjoyed every day since." (malvernobserver.co.uk 01 Jul 2021; worcesternews.co.uk, 30 Jun 2021)

FURTHER EDUCATION
She is pursuing a degree in forensic science at Nottingham Trent University in England. In 2021 she took a break from her studies ahead of the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. "I had taken a break this year to focus on this goal but I'm looking forward to coming back and picking it [her course] back up again in the autumn. NTU have been incredibly supportive of my journey and I'm proud to be part of it." (Instagram profile, 25 Jul 2021; ntu.ac.uk, 21 Jul 2021)
