He has competed in canoe marathon, and won gold in the C2 10km event at the Polish championships in 2014. (gazetaolsztynska.pl, 15 May 2014)
:
He began paddling in 2005 in Wegorzewo, Poland. (gazetaolsztynska.pl, 18 Sep 2013)
:
He played football at UKS Koszalek Opalek Wegorzewo in Poland for several months before switching to canoe. "I quit football, although it went well at the beginning, but then the team started to fall apart so I came to the conclusion that it was a waste of time. Coach Mirek Mikolajewicz suggested that I come to the marina and try canoeing or kayaking. After a few training sessions in a canoe, I knew I had done the right thing quitting football. The first regatta I took part in strengthened this belief." (gazetaolsztynska.pl, 18 Sep 2013)
