NEW COACH
During the COVID-19 pandemic, she and playing partner Brandie Wilkerson began working with coach Rico de Freitas in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, after they were forced to spend time abroad in order to train in the correct conditions. While away from Canada, they also trained in Cancun, Mexico, and California, United States of America, before returning to competition at the March 2021 World Tour event in Doha, Qatar. "I am thrilled and very grateful to be working with Rico and his team. It is very humbling to have a coach who has trained world champions and Olympic silver medallists who wants to work with you. His training style is different to what I have experienced in the past and I am really enjoying the intensity and high level at practice every day.
