She teamed up with Viktoria Orsi Toth in July 2013 and the pair were in Brazil for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro when Orsi Toth was sent home after testing positive for a banned substance. As a result Menegatti played with Laura Giombini at the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro, and reunited with Orsi Toth again in mid-2018. RIO 2016
She had only a few days to bond with Laura Giombini before the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro after her regular partner, Viktoria Orsi Toth, was sent home from the Games after testing positive for a banned substance. "I will never forget the feelings on that day. I felt lost, hopeless, it was like I had been deprived of one half of me. It was not easy for [Giombini], it was not easy for me [but] I think we represented Italy in a good way, we are proud of ourselves and of our experience here."
