WNBA DRAFT
She was selected in the second round, 24th overall pick, of the 2009 WNBA Draft by the Washington Mystics and played for the team in the 2014 season. She has also played for clubs in Hungary, Turkey, Spain, the Russian Federation and Serbia, and speaking in 2019, said she has not ruled out a return to the WNBA. "If you find yourself in a nice place and with people who accept you, then everything is much easier. There have been some easy and some difficult times, but [a basketball] career doesn't last long, so I try to enjoy every moment. The one-year experience at the WNBA was extraordinary. Since my husband's family is in the United States of America, if I have the opportunity, I will go there again at some point." (sportklub.rs, 08 Jan 2019; sports.yahoo.com, 17 Aug 2014)

MOTHERHOOD
In March 2019 she gave a birth to a son, and two weeks later resumed training. "From the very first day when I found out about the pregnancy, I was always thinking about not only having my baby, but winning great games again with the Serbian national team. Now, having my baby here with me, I actually find that I have extra energy and desire as a mother. It makes you a different person, even on the court I think. I was carrying him for nine months and it is true just how much it changes your life completely." (fiba.basketball, 29 Jun 2019)
