His father turned the steering wheel from a tractor into a hoop so Deck could play basketball in the backyard of their home in Colonia Dora, Argentina. "He did it so that I could play with my friends every day. My father was a farmer and my mother was a housewife, who also cleaned in different houses. Then she started working for a company that was dedicated to cleaning buses and my brother and I helped her. We cleaned the buses to put food on the table. I have done everything.
