He began his professional career at the Argentinian club Penarol, and then transferred to Spanish side Real Madrid in 2014. He also spent time playing for UCAM Murcia in Spain before buying out his contract with Real Madrid in 2020 to sign for the Denver Nuggets in the NBA. It had been his ambition since he was a boy to play professionally in the United States of America. "I was really obsessed. It was a teenage dream that one has, growing up and watching the NBA.
