WNBA DRAFT
In April 2019 she was selected by the Seattle Storm during the WNBA Draft as the 12th overall pick in the first round. As she was age 19 at the time, and with the Storm having roster constraints, she was kept overseas for the remainder of the year to develop while playing professionally in Australia. EARLY LIFE
At age 15 she moved to Canberra, ACT, Australia, to train under the basketball programme at the Australian Institute of Sport [AIS]. She spent three years there in total. "I wasn't nervous at all to leave home in Melbourne. I missed my family for the first couple of months but having a group of girls there who were in the same situation as me helped a lot in my transition in Canberra." (standard.net.au, 21 Nov 2017; wnbl.basketball, 27 Mar 2018)

FROM NEW ZEALAND TO AUSTRALIA
Born in New Zealand, she moved to Melbourne, VIC, Australia, with her family at age six. Her parents were both born in Nigeria. (womenshealth.com.au, 25 Feb 2020; standard.net.au, 21 Nov 2017)
