Highlights

He led the Toyota Antelopes to the Women's Japan Basketball League [WJBL] title in 2020/21. (football24.news, 21 Mar 2021)

He guided the Spanish women's team to gold at the 2013, 2017, and 2019 EuroBaskets, as well as bronze at the 2015 EuroBasket in Hungary and Romania. He has led coaching courses where one of the main themes he approaches is how to combine data with the natural talent of the players. "Scouting and big data are very important tools, but we don't have to treat them like a religion. Having information is very good. But the key is what information you keep for the game and what information you give to your team. Scouting allows you to have a wide knowledge of the rival to have plan A and plan B and helps you in the direction of the game.
