WNBA DRAFT
She was selected in the third round, 27th overall pick, in the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Chicago Sky. She did not play for Chicago in the 2019 season and stayed with the Spanish national team as they prepared for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. She then played with CCC Polkowice in Poland during the 2019/20 season and remained inactive for Chicago before the WNBA 2020 season. She says playing in the United States of America is not her priority. "For me it [Spain national team] is the main thing. The WNBA is a tough competition in the [northern hemisphere] summer, which would take me away from my commitment to the national team and now the important thing is to compete for my country. Hopefully in the future I can do both things, we'll see. It's complicated for European players to get drafted, unless you're at university there, and I was before coming back to Spain. I'm excited, I like Chicago and the coach, and hopefully I can go some day." (seminoles.com, 11 Apr 2019; as.com, 06 Jun 2019)
