General Interest

General
CLUB CAREER
She was drafted in the second round, 14th overall pick, of the 2016 WNBA Draft by the Minnesota Lynx and was immediately traded to the San Antonio Stars, with whom she made her WNBA debut in 2016. In May 2017 she was traded to the Indiana Fever with whom she played in the 2017 and 2018 seasons. She has also played for clubs in Australia, Italy, Spain, Hungary and the Republic of Korea, besides a stint in Puerto Rico with Atenienses de Manati. "I've seen a lot of different places, which is pretty cool. It has it's perks for sure, but the downside is you're away from family and friends." (wnba.com, 01 Oct 2017; basketball-reference.com, 01 Oct 2018; elvocero.com, 25 Feb 2020)

TATTOOS
She has a number of tattoos on her body. Her first one, which she got while she was still a teenager, was in memory of her brother Brandon who died when he was age 22. She also has a quote from Chinese philosopher Confucius on her right arm that reads, 'Our greatest glory is in never falling but rising every time we fall'. "I have had many falls and after each one of them I have got up again. They took me to the place I am now, playing professionally and living thanks to my dream job of playing basketball." (easyendurance.wordpress.com, 21 Sep 2019; smh.com.au, 06 Oct 2016)

HERITAGE
Born in Bealeton, VA, United States of America, she is eligible to play for Puerto Rico as her mother Iris was born there, in Santa Isabel. "I love playing for them. The country itself is excited for us. For your college, it's like 20,000 people [you play for]. For a country it's many more. We're very prideful of that. I walk on the street in Puerto Rico and people know me, and it's four hours from one side of the island to the other side. When I go home [to the United States of America] nobody knows me there." (elvocero.com, 25 Feb 2020; fauquier.com, 04 Mar 2020)
