He was signed to a minor league contract by MLB side the Texas Rangers in 2011, and was first assigned to the DSL Rangers, a Rookie League affiliate based in the Dominican Republic. He moved up through the Rangers' minor league system until reaching Triple-A with the Round Rock Express in 2017 and 2018. In 2019 he joined the Chicago Cubs organisation and played in the Rookie level Arizona League, but was released after five months and joined Mexican Baseball League side Bravos de Leon. He began the 2021 season with Sultanes de Monterrey and was later loaned to Piratas de Campeche. He has spent a number of seasons in the Mexican Winter League with Naranjeros de Hermosillo, including 2020/21.
