CLUB HISTORY
He was signed to a minor league contract by MLB side the Atlanta Braves in 2011. With the Braves he reached Double-A status in 2017. After opting for free agency, in 2018 he joined with the Philadelphia Phillies organisation and was assigned to their Triple-A affiliate, the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. In 2019 he had a short spell in the Japanese Nippon Professional Baseball with Orix Buffaloes before receiving a one-year suspension for a doping violation, which resulted in the cancellation of his contract. In January 2020 he was signed to a minor league contract with the Boston Red Sox. He began the 2021 season with the Red Sox's Double-A affiliate Portland Sea Dogs. He has also played in the Mexican Winter League with Tomateros de Culiacan.
