CLUB HISTORY
He began his career with Mexican Baseball League team Sultanes de Monterrey. He joined MLB side the New York Yankees on a minor league contract in 2008. He reached Triple-A status within the Yankees' minor league system before being traded to the Atlanta Braves in 2015 and made his MLB debut with Atlanta that year, playing in seven games that season. He returned to the minor leagues, playing under the Braves, Los Angeles Angels and Los Angeles Dodgers organisations before he was traded to the Chicago White Sox in 2019 and returned to MLB, making another 16 appearances. In 2020 he joined Fubon Guardians of the Chinese Professional Baseball League [CPBL] in Chinese Taipei and returned to Sultanes de Monterrey in July 2021. He has also played in the Mexican Winter League with Tomateros Culiacan, including the 2019/20 season.
