He signed a minor league contract with MLB side Seattle Mariners in 2012 and began his career with the DSL Mariners of the Dominican Summer League. With the Mariners he reached Triple-A status in 2015 before he was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers later that year and remained in the minor leagues. In 2018 he was traded to the Kansas City Royals and after playing 128 games for Triple-A affiliate Omaha Storm Chasers in 2019, made his MLB debut with the Royals at the end of the season. He began the 2021 season at Omaha. He has played for Aguilas Cibaenas and Tigres del Licey in the Dominican Winter League, and spent the 2020/21 season with Licey.
