CLUB HISTORY
He began his career with Mexican Baseball League team Sultanes de Monterrey. In 2005 he joined MLB side the New York Yankees as an international free agent and progressed through their minor league system until making his MLB debut in 2009. He played 179 games over four seasons with the Yankees before electing free agency in 2012 and signing with the Atlanta Braves. He recorded another 131 major league games in two seasons for the Braves and joined the San Diego Padres organisation in 2015, playing at Triple-A El Paso Chihuahuas for the year. He returned to MLB with the San Francisco Giants in 2016 and in 2017 he signed for Japanese Nippon Professional Baseball team Hiroshima Carp. The following year he re-signed for Sultanes de Monterrey. He has also played in the Mexican Pacific Winter League with Tomateros de Culiacan.
