MLB EXPERIENCE
He began his career with Mexican Baseball League team Saraperos de Saltillo. In 2007 he signed a minor league contract with MLB side the St. Louis Cardinals and made his MLB debut in 2010. In late 2013 he was traded to the Los Angeles Angels, and in 2016 was traded to the New York Mets. In 2017 he was released by the Mets and signed as a free agent with the Angels. He began the 2018 season in MLB with the Arizona Diamondbacks, before joining the Atlanta Braves and playing with their Triple-A affiliate Gwinnett Stripers. The following season he was signed by Mexican Baseball League side Acereros de Monclova but made a brief return to MLB with the Philadelphia Phillies, pitching in three games.
