In 2016 she was named Most Valuable Player [MVP] of the Cowles Cup in the National Pro Fastpitch [NPF] league in the United States of America. She was also named to the All-NPF Team in 2014 and 2015, and was named NPF Offensive Player of the Year in 2015. In 2014 she received the Worth Home Run Award as the NPF's home run leader that season. (loyolaramblers.com, 2013; flosoftball.com, 28 Jan 2017)

General Interest

General
JAPAN EXPERIENCE
In 2016 she had a stint in the Japan Women's Softball League with the Toda Medics, giving up her position at the time as an assistant coach with Loyola University. "I could not pass up that opportunity in Japan. I loved playing in Japan. You had to go with an open mind and accept the culture outside of softball. Their softball culture is intense, though. I had one day off each week and we practised from 09:00 to 18:00. They live and breath softball. Each team is allowed two foreigners and it is a big commitment to make for six or seven months. You don't get to see your family and communication is not easy but I loved every second of that experience." (wbsc.org, 13 Apr 2016; flosoftball.com, 08 Sep 2016; lex18.com, 22 Jan 2019)

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
She was signed by National Pro Fastpitch [NPF] team the Chicago Bandits in 2012. She played for Chicago for five seasons before joining the Scrap Yard Dawgs in 2017. In 2019 she played with the USSSA Pride and had a short stint in the Cleveland Comets alongside other members of the Mexican team. (stats.805stats.com, 01 Aug 2019; vallartadaily.com, 02 Jun 2019)

OCCUPATION
In 2019 she was named softball director of operations at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY, United States of America. "Since becoming a Wildcat in 2008, Kentucky has always held a special place in my heart and I'm excited to be in a position to help elevate our program to the next level." She had previously served as an assistant coach at both the University of Kentucky and Loyola University. (ukathletics.com, 01 Sep 2019; loyolaramblers.com, 2013)
