Although the COVID-19 pandemic delayed her move to Switzerland, she relocated there in May 2021 to live on her aunt's sheep farm. In the lead-up to the 2020 Olympic Games, she was combining her training with helping out on the farm and working remotely as a computer engineer for a start-up in the United States of America.
