Injuries:

Ahead of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro he went for three-month training camp in Mexico. Due to limited budget he went alone without physiotherapist. He tore a muscle and was unable to compete at the Games. (kierunektokio.pl, 23 Apr 2021)

OLYMPIC DEBUT
He was selected to compete at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, having missed out on selection in 2008, 2012 and 2016. "It's a story for a nice book, maybe one day I will write it. Four Games and finally - I hope - made it. If I will be on starting line there, I will do my best to finish marathon with a good result and close this stage. TRAINING WITHOUT COACH
He trains without guidance of any coach. "I cannot see in Poland any coach I would like to work with. Therefore, I train alone. I think that if I would have an opportunity to train with some foreign coach, I would try it. But obviously, I am saying about some successful coach, who has authority.
