Her husband Jeff competed for the United States of America in the 110m hurdles at the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games. Her younger sister Cindy Sember represented Great Britain in the 100m hurdles at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and finished fourth. Her father Felix competed in athletics and football at university level in Nigeria, and her older brothers Frank and Alex played American football at university level in the United States of America.
