She strained her left hamstring during the 200m of the 2014 Spitzen Leichtathletik meet in Lucerne, Switzerland. She returned to action at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, but had to withdraw after the 100m heats due to a recurrence of the injury.
