General Interest

General
PSYCHOLOGIST
She said she struggled with a "feeling of illegitimacy" at the 2018 World Indoor Championships in Birmingham, England, so she started working with a sports psychologist to improve her self-confidence. "When we compare ourselves and set goals, we can quickly stress around them, be afraid of not reaching them, for example, and lose our way. I am learning to highlight my work and my results. [I tell myself], 'If I am in this competition, it's because I achieved the necessary results'." (wp.unil.ch, 09 May 2019)

STUDY AND SPORT
In 2018 she said she began focusing more on her athletic performance and less time on her studies. "I have changed my way of training and my lifestyle. Before this season [2018], I was 100% a university student and I was 100% active in sports. This double activity exhausted my nerves - it also took a lot of physical energy from me. I decided to do the last year of my bachelor's degree in three semesters instead of two. This change allowed me to participate in five training camps. The year before, I had only done two." (lematin.ch, 06 Aug 2018)

OTHER STUDIES
After finishing her bachelor's degree, she started a master's degree in literature at the University of Lausanne. "I want to finish my master's and continue my athletic career, but I have no idea what job I want to do later. I will see what life brings me." (laregione.ch, 21 Mar 2020 ;lematin.ch, 06 Aug 2018)
