Speaking in 2021 he said he had benefited from making adjustments to his training regime. "I've been on a journey. I stopped lifting weights and started doing my own version of two things. One is called PRI [postural restoration] and the other is called functional patterns. I don't completely agree with both of them, but I stopped lifting weights and started trying to lace tissues onto my bones, in a way that makes the matrix of all tissues work together to complete tasks in a more holistic manner.
