General Interest

General
BACK TO LABADIE
In 2017 he left coach Lee LaBadie, under whom he won a bronze medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, to joined the Nike Oregon Project [NOP]. Following the closure of the NOP in 2019, he returned to work with LaBadie in early 2020. "[Returning to LaBadie is] a little bit [natural], it's familiarity, like catching up with an old friend. We know each other so well. But at the same time I was just getting adjusted to the training I was doing for the last two years [at NOP], so anytime you have to switch training it adds a bit of unknown factor to it." (letsrundotcom YouTube channel, 25 Jan 2020)

OTHER ACTIVITIES
He has volunteered as a coach at the University of Akron in the United States of America. (gozips.com, 09 Feb 2020; teamusa.org, 01 Jun 2015)
