BREAK AND RETURN
She took a break from competitive athletics in 2012 and turned her focus to triathlon. After the birth of her second son in 2018, she resumed running with the intention of competing in the marathon at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. "Running my first marathon brought an old flame back into my life - the pursuit of the 2020 Olympic Games. She runs her own event management business, provides online coaching services, and coaches athletics at the University of British Columbia in Kelowna, BC, Canada.
