MOVE TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
In 2013 she moved from the Russian Federation to live and train in the United States of America. In 2019 she relocated to Atlanta, GA, having previously been based in Florida. "At the time [2013] the prospects were not bright, and I realised that I needed to move on. At first I came for two months to see if I liked it, to try and work with another coach. Immediately I began learning English - I studied three times a week, because before that I did not speak English at all. I looked at how they work here [in the United States of America], at their system of training, recovery, life. I came thinking that two months was so long. And then two months passed quickly. I worked well with the coach. Then I decided to move permanently." (sports.ru, 13 May 2020)
