"I started out in football like almost everyone else. There's a lot of us in athletics that started with football. My neighbour moved in with us and talked me into starting playing football, so I started playing football. That's where I tasted sport a little bit. Then I had a teacher in elementary school who pushed us a lot into athletics, and I enjoyed it because I was faster than the others. I was getting tired of football, so I thought I'd try it."
