His identical twin brother Kevin, his other brothers Dylan and Rayane, and his sister Olivia have also sprinted for Belgium. Olivia won gold in the 4x100m relay at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, while Kevin competed in the 400m and the 4x400m relay at the Olympic Games in 2008, 2012, and 2016. Dylan represented Belgium in the 4x400m relay at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and Rayane competed in the 4x400m relay at the 2018 World Junior Championships in Tampere, Finland. His father and coach Jacques is a 15-time Belgian national sprint champion [200m, 400m] and represented Belgium at the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow.
