CHANGE IN TRAINING
In early 2019 she joined SCC Berlin athletics club where she often trained alone in different locations. In November the same year she decided to join a training camp in Clermont, FL, United States of America, under coach Lance Brauman. She went back to Germany in early 2020 and resumed training with Brauman via phone and videos. "I deliberately chose Lance. It is a chance for me to take the last and decisive step towards the absolute world class. I need a powerful group for this. It's definitely more demanding than in Germany. I have four hard training sessions a week, but they are feasible because there is an active regeneration day in between and the weekend is free. I sleep a lot. Sleep is more important here than ever before, because it is the best way for the body to recover from all the stress. I record almost all of my training sessions on video and send them to Lance. We then discuss the respective training together on the phone or via WhatsApp." (leichtathletik.de, 29 Mar 2020; leichtathletik.de, 04 Jan 2020; t-online.de, 12 Nov 2019)
