CONVICTION
In May 2019 he was sentenced to 600 days of home detention after being found guilty of causing serious injuries to a man in a fight outside a nightclub in Temuco, Chile, in 2016. The victim fell and hit his head during the fight and died several hours later but Kehr was acquitted of murder and manslaughter after the court ruled that the victim's existing cranial anomalies, as well as the negligent medical attention he received at the hospital, were factors in his death. Kehr was allowed to continue competing during his home detention.
