"To this day, I still believe that I am not well suited for marathons. I have a distinctive style of running, you can say that I bound rather than run. If I had a more sliding step it would be more economical and better for marathon running. The skipping costs me a lot. But I have my heart, this engine that has allowed me to run a marathon in 2:26:31. My running style is more suited to track running. For me, the marathon is boring, I don't like marathon training. Therefore, I don't know why I am able to run close to the Polish marathon record." (bieganie.pl, 05 Dec 2020)

General Interest

General
HUSBAND COACH
She gave birth to her daughter Antonina in 2015, and the following year she was unable to meet the qualifying standard for the 2016 Olympic Games. She credits her husband Zbigniew Nadolski, who is also her coach, for helping her overcome the disappointment of not competing at Rio 2016. "As a family, we did everything so I could qualify, we centred our entire life around it. But our baby was not sleeping at night and I could not get the recovery I needed. My husband came to my aid then because I began to doubt myself. It was a really tough year when I missed the Olympics. We live in these four-year cycles and the Olympics are our goal. Thanks to the determination of my husband who took over child-rearing duties I can now be talking about Tokyo [the 2020 Olympic Games]. We often only talk about the athletes, but we must remember the coaches, because they are doing a very solid job that you cannot see, because we, the athletes, are in the spotlight." (uniwersyteckie.pl, 06 Mar 2020)

NOT A FAN OF RUNNING
She has a complicated relationship with running. "It is not a form of physical activity that I love. Sometimes I read that someone cannot live without running. I don't feel the same way. When I was injured and could not run for six or seven weeks, I would be out walking in Poznan [in Poland] and I did not feel like, 'Oh God, everyone is running, and I can't'. I would not say that I love running, and that I cannot live without it. There are many moments when I think 'I hate it, I feel bad, it is hard for me, why am I so tired?'" (bieganie.pl, 05 Dec 2020)
