General
RETIREMENT PLAN
She says she will retire from competitive athletics after the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. "If the Games had not been postponed, I would have already retired, but COVID-19 completely changed my plans. In Tokyo I will have a chance to take revenge for the 2016 Games. There won't be any changes of plans. My husband, Michal, told me that even if I mention returning to the sport, he will completely forbid me from it. My farewell will be in Tokyo." (bielsk.eu, 06 Mar 2021; tvn24.pl, 31 Dec 2020)

RETURN TO SPORT
After giving birth to her daughter Hanna in September 2018, she began training again in December that year, and returned to competition in mid-2019. She said her fifth-place finish at the 2019 World Championships in Doha, Qatar, was a "victory" considering her time away from the sport. "It's been a long journey, anyone who is a parent knows what I'm talking about, trying to work and raise a child. Under these circumstances, having trained so little in 2019, jumping 1.98m and finishing fifth at the world championships was a victory. My husband says it's my personal best as a mother. I didn't think coming back to sport would be so hard. It's difficult to take care of everything, but fortunately Michal [husband and coach] helps a lot. We can all be together at competitions, camps and training. If not for him, my comeback might not have been possible." (kierunektokio.pl, 01 Jul 2019; sport.pl, 30 Sep 2019)

FURTHER EDUCATION
She has studied land management at the University of Finance and Management in Bialystok, Poland. (Facebook profile, 30 Jan 2020)
