She initially did karate and swimming until she was encouraged to try athletics by her grandfather. "My story is very simple, my grandfather was my first coach and he inspired a love for athletics in me which lasts until today. When I began in hammer, many people laughed at me and they kept telling me that I wouldn't be able to perform at a high level. However, at my first national championships I won a bronze medal, which was just the beginning. I kept training hard and noticed the progress I made and I kept winning more medals at national competitions, in both hammer and javelin." (mim24.pl, 09 Jan 2016; malwinakopron.pl, 01 Jul 2019)

TRAINING WITH CHAMPIONS
In 2021 she spent time training in Portugal with Polish multiple world champion hammer thrower Pawel Fajdek and his coach Szymon Ziolkowski, who won gold in the hammer at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney. She says working with them helped her improve. "They gave me advice, we analysed my technique and my gym workouts together. We modified my training a bit and it served me well. I got a lot of valuable advice from them. I am grateful to them for their patience, because I know I have a rather difficult character. I was fed up with training on my own, so I am happy we got to work together. I now throw a lot further in training and let's hope it stays that way." (sport.interia.pl, 14 May 2021)

EDUCATION
She has studied for a master's degree in internal security at Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin, Poland. (sport.interia.pl, 14 May 2021)
