COACHING CHANGE
In 2012 she moved from the Bahamas to Auburn, AL, United States of America, where she worked with coach Henry Rolle. In 2018 she relocated to Kingston, Jamaica, to train with Paul Francis and Stephen Francis at the Maximising Velocity and Power Track and Field Club [MVP]. The club is also home to Jamaican athletes Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and Elaine Thompson-Herah. "I wanted to be great and I felt that the only way I could do it, was to be in an atmosphere where the great athletes were. Here in Jamaica, MVP's whole camp is designed just around track and field. I feel this was something that I needed to actually ground me. The way Stephen and Paul coach is completely different from any other coach I worked with in the past. I respect their coaching style because they are so frank and direct." (tribune242.com, 12 Aug 2020)
