Twins Charlotte and Laura Tremble qualified for the 2020 Olympic Games through their performance at the Olympic qualifying tournament held in June 2021 in Barcelona. The pair finished third behind Austria and Belarus in Barcelona to secure their first Olympic appearance in Tokyo.

At the 2019 World Championships in Gwangju, the pair recorded eighth and 10th positions in the free and technical routines, respectively, improving upon their 11th-place finish in the technical routine in 2017. The sisters also posted a seventh-place finish in the technical routine at the 2018 European Championships in Scotland.
