Her twin sister Lieke Wevers has also represented the Netherlands in artistic gymnastics, and competed with her at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Lieke also won gold on beam at the 2015 European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan. The sisters' father, Vincent, has served as their coach.
