She was involved in football, volleyball, bowling, and athletics before switching to archery. She had always been interested in archery, but had not been able to try it until a friend told her about lessons at the Ontario Centre for Classical Sport [OCCS]. "The high performance athletics club I was part of helped to develop not only my love of sport, but also laid the foundations for good mental discipline and visualisation techniques.
