General Interest
Athletes from Comoros first competed at the Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996. Part of the team was sprinter Hadhari Djaffar, who went on to compete at the Games in 2000 and 2004 and became the first Comoran athlete to participate in three editions of the Games.
Two other athletes from Comoros have made multiple appearances at the Olympic Games. Ahamada Feta contested the women's 100m in 2008 and 2012, while 400m hurdler competed in his second consecutive Games in 2016 in Rio de Janeiro.
Comoros is yet to win a medal at the Olympic Games. The majority of the NOC's Olympians have competed in athletics, with swimming and weightlifting the only other sports in which Comoros has fielded competitors.
