Distance runner Ndjissipou competed in the 5000m in his first Games in 1992 before stepping up to the marathon in 1996 and 2004. Conjungo contested the men's discus in 1992, 1996 and 2000.
The Central African Republic was represented by athletes in swimming, taekwondo, athletics, and boxing at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
