She initially practised gymnastics but became too tall for the sport, so she followed her mother into basketball. "My mother measured 185 centimetres, and my father two metres. When I was very young I knew I would become tall. Because of my size, I gave up gymnastics, my first sport. Everyone knew I could not be the new Nadia Comaneci." She took up 3x3 basketball to try something new. "I wanted to try another sort of the game to get out of the routine that I had with 5-on-5 basketball. 5-ON-5 CAREER
Besides playing 5-on-5 basketball internationally, she has played in the French Ligue Feminine de Basketball for clubs including Bourges Basket, ESB Villeneuve d'Ascq, Tarbes Gespe Bigorre and Flammes Carolo. In 2019 she spent time playing with Polish Basket Liga Kobiet side CCC Polkowice before returning to France. In April 2020 she signed with Basket Lattes Montpellier. FROM ROMANIA TO FRANCE
Born in Bucharest, Romania, at age five she relocated to France alongside her mother, who had just signed a professional basketball contract with the Lyon club. In 2003 she received French citizenship. "I was born in Bucharest, I still have family there and I go down there on a regular basis. But I feel 100 per cent French. France is where I learned to play basketball, and that's why I chose to play for France."
