February 2019: Broke his left hand in three places after falling at the World Cup in Dresden, requiring six screws to be inserted into his hand. "I have no role model. I do what I can, and I do it to the best of my ability. I try to give 100% in every workout. If I had to mention an athlete, it would be Shaolin [his brother], but if I could choose outside of sports, I would say my family - I learned everything there." (nemzetisport.hu, 18 May 2019)
Former Hungarian short track national team coach Zhang "Lina" Jing. "Our Chinese coach, Lina, is the one who actually tells and shows the way. I trust her unconditionally. She’s our second mother - my brother, Shaolin, and I think so at least, we trust her absolutely." (nemzetisport.hu, 18 May 2019)
