During season: practice nearly everyday, skating almost 2 hours, plus lifting in the gym.

Game days: pregame skate in the morning for 30 minutes, then eat a large lunch, take a 1-2 hour nap, then back to the arena for the game.

During the off-season: first 2 months is focused on regaining strength and explosiveness lost to the long season. After strength goals are reached, focus shifts to on-ice play, "where you start fine tuning the small details in your game to elevate it to the next level." (Athlete, 25 Jan 2022)
