NORTH AMERICAN STINT
Signed a one-year contract with the New York Islanders (NHL) in July 2018 and was placed on waivers in October. Signed a professional tryout contract with the Boston Bruins later that month and played in 12 games in the American Hockey League for their minor league affiliate. He was eventually released and returned to Europe after appearing in zero NHL games.
