Father Ray Ferraro (Ice hockey): Played 1,258 games in the NHL between 1984 and 2002 for the Hartford Whalers, New York Islanders, New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings, Atlanta Thrashers and St. Louis Blues.
Stepmother Cammi Granato (Ice hockey): Represented the United States at two Olympic Winter Games, winning a gold medal in the sport's debut in 1998 and silver four years later. 2005 world champion and eight-time world silver medallist.
2018/19 season: Required hip/groin procedures for a hernia.
December 2016: Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury, required surgery that ended his season.
2010/11 season: Sports hernia surgery.
