August 2021: Suffered a broken fibula during the team's celebration following its World Championships victory over the USA, returning to the ice to receive her gold medal on a stretcher. She returned to competition in mid-November.

2019: Suffered a tournament-ending injury in the semifinal of the 2019 World Championships after she was pushed head-first into the boards in the match against Finland.

PREP SCHOOL
Played at Shattuck-St. Mary's School in Minnesota prior to playing at Wisconsin, joining fellow Nova Scotians Alexis Crossley (CAN) and Nathan MacKinnon (CAN). Canadian gold medallist and NHL player Sidney Crosby, also from Nova Scotia, attended the school from 2002 to 2003.
