Describes coming out to her close family at 18 as one of the hardest things she has ever done. Now she is an advocate for acceptance, speaking to children's groups, and has been married to her longtime partner since 2019. "We need to continue to put these conversations in the spotlight. CHARITY
She is a mentor for 'Start the Spark', an initiative created to provide mentorship and an avenue for youth to talk about mental health issues in their school communities. She is also an advocate for 'Right to Play', 'Experience a Dream', 'Help a Child Smile' and 'Do It For Daron' programmes. She also initiated 'Markers for Madison', a foundation raising money for cancer treatment by having people donate one dollar every time she scored a goal. GLUTEN-FREE DIET
