Brother Markus Lauridsen (Ice hockey): U20 World Championship gold medallist in 2011 (IB) and silver medallist in 2010 (IA), where he was named Best Defenseman. Has seven senior World Championship appearances playing alongside Oliver, and competed in the Olympic Qualification Tournament the past two times. Champion in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DHL) in 2018 with EHC Munchen, and the United States Hockey League (USHL) in 2012 with the Green Bay Gamblers. Currently plays in Sweden with Oliver on the Malmo Redhawks.
